Customer Service Advisor

Caisley Eartag Ltd is looking for a new member to join their small team located at Sycamore Business Park just outside Ripon, North Yorkshire.

The role would consist of Sales & Customer Service duties, ensuring that our orders are fulfilled promptly & efficiently, whilst covering goods despatch duties where necessary.

Main Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Deal directly with customers either by telephone, electronically or face to face
  • Manage large amounts of incoming phone calls
  • Process orders
  • Take payments
  • Provide customers with information on any open orders and invoices
  • Handle and resolve customer complaints
  • Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle product and service inquiries
  • Provide pricing and delivery information
  • Set up new customer accounts
  • Keep records of customer interactions
  • Follow up on customer interactions
  • Follow company process accurately and efficiently

Key skills must include:

  • Data entry proficiency
  • IT savvy
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Good writing skills (email etiquette)
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Problem analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to learn other software systems relatively easily

Desirable:

  • Have an agricultural background
  • Experience with Sage 50 Accounts package

Hours:

The role is a full-time position, Monday to Friday 8:30 am – 5 pm.
